Stop / Start System Reset Procedure

For vehicles equipped with stop/start technology, the following procedure should be carried out after fitting a new battery:

1 – Ensure all electrical items (A/C, audio, lights, etc.) are switched off.
2 – Turn the vehicle to OFF (LOCK) mode.
3 – Turn the vehicle to ACC mode.
4 – Turn the vehicle to ON mode.
5 – Start the engine and allow it to idle for 1 minute or more.
6 – Turn the vehicle to OFF (LOCK) mode.
7 – Repeat steps 2 through 6 four times or more.
8 – Turn the vehicle to ON mode.

Note: The internal resistance of a 12V battery may not update correctly if the engine starts directly from OFF (LOCK) mode without passing through ACC and ON modes.
