What is AdBlue®?
AdBlue® is a water/urea-based additive that’s stored in a dedicated tank and injected directly into a specially modified part of the vehicle’s exhaust system—not the engine. This triggers a chemical reaction called Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR), which helps convert harmful nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless nitrogen and water vapour.
