Shell Helix Ultra ECT 5W-30 is a fully synthetic engine oil formulated using Shell’s advanced Emissions Compatible Technology (ECT). It is designed to help protect vehicle emission systems while delivering outstanding engine cleanliness and protection.
Produced using Shell’s unique PurePlus Technology, which converts natural gas into a crystal-clear base oil, this formulation contains virtually none of the impurities found in crude oil. Combined with Shell’s Active Cleansing Technology, it helps keep critical engine components clean and protected beyond industry standards.
The low-SAPS formulation helps keep diesel particulate filters clean and protects against ash build-up that can restrict exhaust flow and reduce engine performance. Low viscosity and low friction characteristics also contribute to improved fuel efficiency.
