MANNOL Ceramo Ester is an innovative engine protection agent based on synthetic compound ethers (Group V ester oils) combined with hexagonal boron nitride (h-BN) ceramic microparticles, also known as white graphite. It is designed to significantly reduce friction and wear in engines not equipped with oil bath (wet) clutches.
The additive forms a stable suspension of graphite-like ceramic micro-powder in ester oil. Due to their strong polarity, ester molecules bond to metal surfaces, forming a dense and highly stable oil film. Ceramic microparticles smooth friction surfaces, dissipate heat effectively and prevent direct metal-to-metal contact, even under extreme operating conditions.
This protection is particularly effective during cold starts, including sub-zero temperatures, where dry friction is minimised to reduce start-up wear.
